Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This is my personal website. I keep it simple on purpose: no cookies, no tracking and no forms, just privacy-friendly visit statistics. This page explains the little personal data that is involved and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
Juan Manuel Lozano Panadero is responsible for this website (juanmalozano.com). You can contact me at [email protected].
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use cookies or third-party trackers. To know how many people visit it and which pages they read, I use Umami Cloud, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It does not use cookies or store personal data such as your IP address: it only records anonymous, aggregated information (page visited, referring site, country, browser and device type). The legal basis is my legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can read Umami’s privacy policy.
Fonts and images are served from my own server.
Server records
The website does not keep access logs. If I ever enable them for security or troubleshooting, they would include your IP address, browser, date and the page requested, would be kept for no more than 30 days and would never be used to identify you. The legal basis would be my legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you email me
If you write to me, I will use your email address and whatever you include in your message only to reply and follow up on our conversation. I will not add you to any list or share your details. I delete messages when they are no longer needed, or earlier if you ask me to. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering you, or taking steps you request before a possible agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Where the website is hosted
The website runs on infrastructure I operate myself in the European Union and is delivered through Cloudflare’s network. Any provider involved in running it, including Cloudflare and Umami, only processes data on my behalf.
Links to other websites
Some links take you to other websites, such as LinkedIn, GitHub or my status page on UptimeRobot. Once you follow them, their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me to:
- access the personal data I hold about you,
- correct or delete it,
- restrict or object to its processing,
- receive it in a portable format.
Just email [email protected]. If you think I have not handled your data properly, you can also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Changes
If anything here changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
